Tim's funeral will be held in our church, St John the Evangelist, Merrow, Guildford 

on Friday 19th April at 1.15.  It is not a large church, and an overflow may need to be in the Church Centre next door.

Clergy of any denomination are warmly invited to robe (in the Church Centre) and will be seated in the Chancel.  For Anglicans: Choir dress and black scarf or white stole.

Travel and Parking
By car  N.B. there are major roadworks at the M25/A3 Junction (at Wisley). Please allow extra time or take an alternative route. 

St John's Church is just off the A25, on the E side of Guildford GU4 7AA

From London via A3 - take the Burpham Interchange and follow signs to Merrow.

Street parking is available in Merrow Street, also in Partridge Way, from where a footpath through Goldfinch Gardens leads to Merrow Street.

or Merrow Park&Ride is close by the church, but there is no footpath between the two! Take the no.300 one stop to Merrow Church(2 minutes).  Buses are every 30 mins: 10 past and 40 mins past the hour.

Return to Park&Ride: from the church, cross the main road at the Horse and Groom pub, and the bus stop is to your left.  No 300 - 5 mins past and 35 mins past the hour. Signal to the bus to stop.

By train to Guildford
Take taxi to St John's Church, Merrow (there's a different St John's elsewhere in Guildford)

or 5 min walk from station to Bus Station  (well signed) At Stand 22, take no 300 Merrow Park&Ride to Merrow Church (not the Car Park).  Every 30 mins: 5 mins to the hour and 25 mins past - takes 10 mins.  Cross the main road to the church.

Return to station: from the church walk past the Horse and Groom pub to the bus stop.  Buses run 15 mins past hour and 45 mins past hour. Signal to 300 bus to stop
